New York made the two biggest deals before Tuesday’s deadline, sending shutdown cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts and All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys. The Jets stopped there, retaining Breece Hall despite reports claiming the running back desired a trade.

Hall denied requesting a trade when speaking to reporters on Wednesday, per SNY .

“There’s just been a lot of stuff out … a lot of stuff that’s true and false,” Hall said. “I let that be what it is. It’s out there. It is what it is, but I’m here, and I’m worried about playing Cleveland this week.”
