The director of the Manchester Office of Youth Services has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the results of an internal investigation, city officials confirmed Thursday.
Michael Quigley has served as director since Dec. 27, 2022, after Manchester aldermen approved his nomination to the vacant position, made by then-mayor Joyce Craig.
City aldermen were notified of Quigley’s status in an email sent at 1:07 p.m. Thursday from Mayor Jay Ruais to all board members.
“This message is to inform you that I have placed Director Michael Quigley of the Office of Youth Services on paid administrative leave pending the results of an internal investigation,” the email said. “Kristen Treacy will continue to serve as the Interim Director during this time.”
