Possible criminal charges are pending blood test results for a woman who reportedly crashed a vehicle into the side of a residence in Troy last week.
The Troy Police Department said the woman, a 45-year-old from Troy, was slurring her words, unsteady on her feet and had “glassy eyes” while speaking with officers dispatched to the scene — the 1000 block of Woodside Trail. She performed poorly on sobriety evaluations and refused a preliminary breath test, police said. She also refused medical treatment, police said, was arrested and taken to the Troy lock-up facility. After she refused to submit to a breath test, officers were granted a search warrant to have medical personnel draw her blood and the case was subsequently turned over to the detective bureau.
