LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A new film by Arkansas native film director and screenwriter, Jeff Nichols, is soon to hit the big screen.
The new movie, King Snake , stars Margaret Qualley, Drew Starkey and Michael Shannon. In the film, a couple inherits a farm in Arkansas where they are then faced with real-world problems and supernatural forces, battling physical and metaphysical demons while they are forced to confront the property's dark legacy.
Throughout the film, forces of good and evil collide in a terrifying way where real-world challenges crash into otherworldly creatures and myths.
Nichols is an acclaimed screenwriter and director originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, who is known for films like Mud , Take Shelter , and Loving .
He is also a chairman of the Arkansas Cinema Soc
