LUBBOCK, Texas -- ESPN College GameDay takes the stage for the weekend for Texas Tech's highly anticipated matchup against BYU. But there's still plenty going on around the Hub City. Here is a list of weekend events for November 7 through November 9, including live music, art exhibits and holiday markets.

Friday, November 7:

First Friday Art Trail: This downtown Lubbock favorite is back on Friday at 1801 Crickets Avenue from 6:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. The Buddy Holly Center’s feature exhibition is Celebración, an annual exhibition of artwork that explores the history and meaning behind the Mexican holiday, Día de los Muertos.

AstroNight: Texas Tech’s Physics and Astronomy department is hosting an AstroNight at the Lubbock Lake Landmark on Friday, November 7, for a night under the stars
