TRENTON, Ohio (WXIX) - Residents in Trenton hope to make their voices heard over the possible construction of a 141-acre data center.

The land near Kennel and Woodsdale roads was bought by Prologis last spring, with the sale finalized at the last Trenton City Council meeting, according to City Manager Marcos Nichols.

“I mean... 141 acres of ground out there that they could be using for farmland that they’re using to put a data center on? Trenton’s not big enough for that. If they want that, let them go to Dayton or Cincinnati. They’re trying to turn Trenton into Dayton or Cincinnati,” said resident Alvin Hale.
