LITTLE ROCK, Ark — An Arkansas man has now been charged with first-degree murder after two teens were killed following a crash and a high-speed chase he was involved in.

According to reports, at about 10:15 p.m. on October 29, an Arkansas State Police (ASP) trooper saw 20-year-old José Solano Rodríguez of Little Rock driving rapidly down I-30 eastbound.

However, when the trooper tried to stop the vehicle, Rodríguez allegedly took the Geyer Springs Road exit and then drove off recklessly at speeds of more than 100 miles per hour, all while ignoring traffic signals and almost crashing into other vehicles.

The chase continued onto I-30 westbound, where his vehicle was driving at over 130 miles per hour before he took the McDaniel Drive exit. The vehicle then traveled on the service road, h
