Costco has recalled nearly one million bottles of a popular wine because the bottles can shatter, posing a laceration risk. The recall impacts 941,400 bottles of Kirkland Signature Valdobbiadene Prosecco which comes in a green bottle with purple foil on the top and a purple label, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission .

The wine features the UPC code 196633883742 and the Costco Item Number is 1879870. The wine was available between April 2025 through August 2025 for about $8. It was imported from Italy by F&F Fine Wines International, Inc. of Miami, which does business as Ethica Wines.
