Growing up on a farm poop was part of life. I stepped in it when I fed the sheep. I got it on my hands when I gathered the eggs. I wiped it off cows’ udders before milking. Poop was a natural occurrence and useful for fertilizing crops, but you didn’t dump it on people. If I’d have thrown poop at anyone, friend or foe, I would have been in big trouble.

As I watched Trump’s AI video of him dumping poop on people , I found myself sad and angry. Sad that our society tolerates a leader who pretends to dump poop on protesters. Angry because he thinks this makes him a great leader.
