PROCTORVILLE, Ohio. (WSAZ) - A fundraiser this weekend is helping support the family of a fallen firefighter.

The Proctorville Volunteer Fire Department is holding a chili cook off at the Proctorville Bingo Hall.

Things get started at 10 a.m. on Saturday, and the judging starts at 12 p.m.

The proceeds will go to the family of Lonnie Sawyers, a firefighter who passed away last month following a battle with cancer.
