Fireworks were being 'lobbed at people' with one nearly missing a mum and her child in another evening of Bonfire Night 'carnage'.
Groups of youths caused chaos across the region, with fireworks hurled at passers-by, cars and emergency services while large groups engaged in games of 'cat and mouse' with police on Wednesday (November 5).
Large groups of youths gathered around Ordsall Park, in Salford , and Halliwell Road, in Bolton , where several officers were forced to attend. The fireworks were also launched in the street in Hyde as at Marple's Memorial Park, a 'disgraceful' fire was lit near the town's war memorial, sparking a police investigation.
