TAMPA, Fla. ( WWSB ) – As the longest federal shutdown in US history continues and details regarding which airports will possibly be affected by flight cuts are revealed, TPA has released a statement to passengers.

In a social media post, Tampa International Airport said, “Well, folks, we’re potentially one of the 40 airports that could face FAA-mandated flight reductions due to the federal government shutdown. We’ve heard that up to 10% of our 600 daily flights could be affected, though we don’t yet have confirmed details.
