Megan Schwartz remembers watching Disney’s “Frozen” from an early age. Now the Blackhawk Christian junior is stepping into the role of Anna as Fort Wayne Civic Theatre opens a musical based on the movie Saturday at Arts United Center.

When she saw that Civic was holding auditions for the show about sisterhood and acceptance in the magical world of Arendelle, Schwartz knew she wanted to be involved.

“I love the story so much, and I’ve seen the movie a million times when I was younger,” the 16-year-old says. “I would always come home from preschool and watch it practically every day with my mom. It’s really special for me to be able to do this.”
