TWINSBURG, Ohio – Giesecke+Devrient ePayments America will close its Twinsburg facility beginning Jan. 30, 2026, according to an Ohio Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) notice.
Some 240 jobs will be cut at the global security technology company, which specializes in payment solutions. Limitations in the size and infrastructure of the Twinsburg facility, located at 1960 and 2020 Enterprise Parkway, were the main reason for the closure, according to the notice.
The closure will continue through Dec. 26, 2026. In their official notice, Giesecke+Devrient said the decision aligns with its “goal to support long-term business efficiency, centralized operations, and strategic growth.”
Affected employees are not represented by a union and do not have bumping rights. Emplo
