CLEVELAND, Ohio — Soho Chicken and Whiskey is finally back in action after a move from Ohio City’s West 25 th Street to Lorain Avenue, still serving up soul food and welcoming vibes that established it as a local favorite.
Soho, now at 4211 Lorain Avenue in the former home of Xinji Noodle Bar, officially reopened for business on Thursday, Oct. 30. The restaurant has enjoyed a busy first week full of reservations, and we were able to dine in the restaurant about a week after the official reopening.
The Xinji space was inherently cozy, with exposed brick and corner booth nooks for intimate dining. The welcoming feeling is the same, with Soho’s distinct flare — complementary biscuits with butter and jam, stiff drinks in envy-worthy glassware and a Charleston Chew on the way out are ju
