World No. 1 Jannik Sinner and No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz are the top seeds in their respective groups for the upcoming Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, Italy.
Italy’s Sinner is the defending champion, but Spaniard Alcaraz is the overall No. 1 seed for the season-ending championship that begins on Sunday.
The draw announced Thursday placed Alcaraz in the Jimmy Connors Group with No. 4 seed Novak Djokovic of Serbia, No. 6 Taylor Fritz and No. 7 Alex de Minaur of Australia.
The second-seeded Sinner leads the Bjorn Borg Group made up of No. 3 Alexander Zverev of Germany, No. 5 Ben Shelton and the still-to-be-determined No. 8 seed.
Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime currently sits in the eighth spot in the Race To Turin rankings. He is 160 points ahead of Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti, who can overtake the idle
