BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A man from Lombard, Ill. pleaded guilty Thursday morning to charges related to an incident at Dr. Charles R. Drew Science Magnet school that occurred this past winter, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.

Shane Cronin, 31, entered the school through the Buffalo Museum of Science and approached two juvenile students on the afternoon of Feb. 11. Officials said he attempted to lure and abduct one of them, a girl under the age of 10, before a teacher told him to leave.

Cronin punched the teacher in the face. He was taken into custody after fleeing the building.
