As the Federal Aviation Administration forces airlines to cut 10% of their flights, companies are reassuring customers that they will attempt to minimize disruptions.
Reductions are being made at 40 of the busiest airports across the country.
The cuts will take effect on Friday and travelers are encouraged to check with their airlines to see if their flight has been cut.
