After failing to win a World Series in his eight-year stint so far with the Yankees, the calls for Aaron Boone’s firing are louder than ever. After ending the Yankees’ dream of reaching back-to-back World Series, a Blue Jays coach has announced that he’ll be leaving Toronto in the offseason. And the Yankees fans are crying out for him to replace under-fire Boone.

Talking baseball on Twitter, posted, “Don Mattingly is leaving the Blue Jays after their World Series run, but he is not planning to retire”. Insider Jon Heyman reported that he was “grateful to the Toronto hierarchy” for all the scopes he was provided.

Now, the big question is, why is Mattingly leaving?
