Dozens of people were taken to hospital after a mass outbreak of food poisoning broke out - at a sausage festival. Some 80 students and teachers fell ill after scoffing the sausages at a school event in Turkey. ‌

Organisers at the Emine Gönen Secondary School in Kayseri, around 200 miles south east of capital Ankara, flogged the speciality sucuk sandwiches for 100 Turkish Lira (Around £1.80). ‌
