The parents of three girls killed by Axel Rudakubana have said his parents should face accountability for their 'shameful' failures which allowed their son's evil to go 'unchecked'

The outraged families of three little girls murdered in the Southport attack have demanded the killer's parents be held accountable for allowing "such evil to exist under their roof".

After listening to two days of evidence from Axel Rudakubana's parents, the victim's families said they felt "complete disdain" for their "excuses" at an inquiry into the atrocity today.

In three scathing statements, they later added that Rudakubana's parents knew he was capable of horrific violence when he attacked a dance class full of children with a knife.
