BOWIE COUNTY, Texas (KTAL/KMSS) – A Texas woman sitting on death row for murdering a pregnant woman and kidnapping her baby was denied her first appeal, claiming multiple errors by prosecutors during the trial as the reason for the appeal.

Taylor Rene Parker filed an appeal claiming that the state erred in its claim and subsequent conviction that she kidnapped the unborn child of Reagan Hancock on October 9, 2020. Parker was not seeking an appeal on her capital murder conviction for Hancock's death.
