Communities across the Inland Empire plan to honor the nation’s military members on Tuesday, Nov. 11, with parades, ceremonies and other events.
Here’s a look at some of those Veterans Day events:
Chino: The annual Veterans Day Ceremony begins at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chino Liberty Courtyard at the Chino Community Building, 5443 B St. The ceremony will include the presentation of each flag representing a branch of the U.S. military by a Chino military family. Marine Corporal Gil Sanchez, a Persian Gulf War veteran, will give the keynote address. Information: cityofchino.org/VeteransDay
Chino Hills: The annual Salute to Service honoring and recognizing Chino Hills veterans begins at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Chino Hills Community Center, 14250 Peyton Drive. Following the ceremony, free
