What was meant to be a routine press conference in the Oval Office on November 6 turned into a circus when a medical emergency interrupted the event. During a meeting where President Donald Trump was slated to announce updates on GLP-1 weight loss treatments Zepboud and Wegovy, a male attendee fainted behind the president. According to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, the person at the center of said health scare worked for either Eli Lilly or Novo Nordisk, the two companies in attendance, according to Newsweek .
