BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — The city of Beloit has launched a campaign called "Revitalize" to seek more state funding and resources for repairing its roads.

The initiative, announced today, aims to address the maintenance of state highways that local municipalities are currently responsible for, despite these being state roads.

"Our city manager has already had a lot of conversations with local representatives. But this campaign is really that kick-off to try to start drawing more attention to it, and get the state legislature to," said Bill Frisbee, Beloit's Public Works Director.
