Sterling K. Brown wasn’t about to let that left Achilles tendon tear stop him from attending this year’s EBONY Power 100 Gala at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on November 4. Chosen as one of our 2025 Entertainment Powerhouses awardees, Brown’s been crushing it on screen with his television series Washington Black and Paradise, both of which he executive-produces and stars in.

His gorgeous wife, actress Ryan Michelle Bathe, is currently out of town shooting a film, so Brown spoke about how he handles the part of the “dad-on-duty” at home when his wife is away.
