CADDO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The investigation into a Caddo Correctional Center Deputy who was arrested for alleged contraband smuggling has led to additional charges for a current inmate and the arrest of his girlfriend.

A CPSO news release announced that Chamorea Bell, 29, an inmate at CCC, arranged a meeting between the former deputy, Chamorea Bell, 29, and his girlfriend, Chamarian Worthy, 23.

The two met at a location that investigators are not disclosing to discuss how Worthy would provide the contraband to Edwards, which Edwards would deliver to Bell, who was incarcerated at the time.
