LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Another top aide to former Speaker of the Michigan House of Representatives Lee Chatfield was convicted Thursday after pleading guilty to charges related to the misappropriation of funds from nonprofits and political action committees (PACs) tied to the former speaker.
Rob Minard, of Bath Township, was initially charged alongside his wife Anne Minard, 38, in December 2024, with both facing charges of embezzlement, tax fraud, three counts of false pretenses, conspiracy to conduct a criminal enterprise, and conducting a criminal enterprise.
Anne faced two additional counts of embezzlement and two additional counts of false pretenses. Robert faced an additional charge of false pretenses.
