Agents were seen near 31st Street and Western Avenue in black SUVs.

The heavily armed Border Patrol agents stopped and got out of their vehicles holding their weapons closely at numerous spots in various neighborhoods.

"People were just going on their normal day, and here they come and harass and terrorize our community," Little Village Community Council President Baltazar Enriquez said.

When community leaders got word, the federal agents were in the area, they called out the volunteer force.
