PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Valley teenager says she narrowly escaped being kidnapped after two men allegedly tried to grab her on the street. Now, she is sharing her story and a message to others.
It happened on Tuesday near 49th Avenue and Union Hills Drive. The teen had just left school and stopped at a Walgreens when she says she noticed something was wrong.
“They were trying to get my attention saying hey girl in the yellow shirt,” she explained.
The men were supposedly in a red Kia SUV when they attempted to take her. Arizona’s Family is not naming the teen victim as police continue to search for the would-be kidnappers.
The teen said one of the men grabbed her backpack, ripping the stitching, and wrapped his arm around her. She also said the man who grabbed her had a pocket knife in
