While lots of New York–based celebrities posted their support of Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani throughout the election, a smaller group threw their support behind Andrew Cuomo . Among them were President Donald Trump, influencer Danielle Bernstein , and Amy Schumer, who posted a selfie with her “I Voted” sticker in mid-October with the caption “ Rhymes with duomo .” I doubt those first two are too happy with Mamdani’s big win, but Schumer — who’s made political appearances with her cousin, Senator Chuck Schumer, and frequently endorses Democratic candidates — may actually be coming around after Mamdani responded to an act of antisemitism.
