BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - Leaders in Blacksburg are excited to annouce a comprehensive five-year action plan to boost growth and revitalization in the town.

The five-year action plan engages everyone who helps make Blacksburg special, and incorporates everything from policy, design, tourism and economic vitality to bring out the charm of the town.

“It should be a benefit to business owners and to everyone who comes to Blacksburg, whether you live here, you’re a student, you’re a visitor,” said Ann Cassell, President of the Blacksburg Partnership.

The Blacksburg Partnership is spearheading the project, working alongside the town, Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. and Virginia tech to focus on the goals for revitalization and greenspace development over the next five years.
