TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Travelers could begin to see impacts of the government shutdown at the gate as the FAA is cutting back air traffic by 10% nationwide starting on Friday.

About 2,000 people fly out of Tallahassee International Airport on any given day.

It’s unclear yet what kind of impact air passengers could see at TLH, or if there will be any flight delays or cancellations in the days ahead.

David Pollard, the City of Tallahassee’s Aviation Department, said right now all operations at the airport are normal, but they encourage passengers to check with their airline for updates.
