SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Clouds dominated much of our Thursday although temperatures were still able to go above average reaching the upper 50s to around 60 for most of Siouxland.
Thursday Night’s Forecast
Clouds will gradually decrease tonight as lows stay pretty mild in the low 40s. The wind will settle down tonight and be out of the west at only 5 to 10 mph.
As the clouds clear, keep your eye out for the small possibility of seeing the Northern Lights tonight.
There is a strong geomagnetic storm going on which could mean the norther parts of the Midwest could see the Aurora Borealis trying to show its colors. Although with the clouds, the timing will have to be right.
Friday’s Forecast
Friday should give us a nice amount of sunshine, and it’ll be our last mild day for the next few days
