Prince Harry has apologized for wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers ball cap while seated in the stands at Dodger Stadium for Game 4 of the World Series featuring the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Duke of Sussex, who is married to American Meghan Markle and moved to California in 2020, is in succession for the throne and remains connected to Canada’s monarchy.
With that in mind, some observers believe the Royal Ginger struck out by donning the Dodgers cap and not one of the Blue Jays, who are Canada’s lone Major League Baseball team.
“Firstly, I would like to apologize to Canada for wearing it. Secondly, I was under duress. There wasn’t much choice,” Prince Harry told CTV News in an exclusive interview.
