SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) -- People flying out of Sioux Falls Regional Airport are boarding their flights with some unease about whether or not they'll be able to return home on time.
The FAA is reducing the number of flights in and out of the country's largest airports due to the ongoing government shutdown.
We could begin seeing a reduction in air traffic as soon as Friday.
The FAA says having 10 percent fewer flights will ensure the safety of passengers because of airport staffing shortages.
But that's left some local air travelers wondering about their future travel plans.
