WASHINGTON — When the Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins meet in Madrid, the halftime performance will feature Argentine producer BIZARRAP and Puerto Rican superstar Daddy Yankee.

The game at the Bernabeu, the home of perennial European Champions Real Madrid, will be the NFL’s first chance to showcase American football in Spain.

It will also be the first time the Commanders have played overseas.

The NFL’s first international regular-season game was played in 2005, when the Arizona Cardinals played the San Francisco 49ers in Mexico City.

The NFL launched its international series in 2007, with the New York Giants playing the Miami Dolphins in London.

This year, the league is featuring seven international games — six in European cities and one in São Paul, Brazil.
