SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Colleges Foundation announced its seeking monetary donations to sustain student food pantries and emergency aid in this time of increased demand.
“The Foundation usually asks for help supporting students’ futures,” Executive Director of Spokane Colleges Foundation Heather Beebe-Stevens said. “But right now, many of our students are not thinking about their futures – they are wondering how they are going to feed their kids tonight.”
Donations can be made online through the Foundation’s website, with the option to select between a donation to food support or emergency aid.
All donations to food support will be distributed equally between Spokane Community College and Spokane Falls Community College. Donations to emergency aid will be set aside to help student
