LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Warm and humid weather will last through Saturday before we track colder air for early next week.
A warmer Friday is ahead as we start the day in the middle 60s and finish into the lower 80s. Dense fog shouldn’t be as widespread due to more clouds around overnight, but at least some areas of patchy fog will be possible for the morning commute again. It’s not out-of-the question to see a stray shower or two but we’ll turn sunnier during the afternoon.
Outdoor plans still look to be in good shape, just keep an eye out for a stray shower especially earlier in the day.
Saturday will be warm and mostly dry again with highs back in the low 80’s. Then the cold front arrives.
The front will move in around Sunday morning and bring strong northerly winds that may gust
