COPPERAS COVE, Texas — The City of Copperas Cove announced Thursday it will host its annual Fall Clean-Up, BOPA and Shred Event on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 8 a.m. to noon.

Residents and business owners will be granted two free pick-up truck load visits per utility account to Solid Waste, located at 2605 S. FM 116, to dispose of household trash and waste. Participants will be required to show current proof of residency, according to the city's press release.

This year, Copperas Cove will also provide an opportunity to safely dispose sensitive materials. Referred to as Central Texas Shredding Secure Data Destruction, this is meant to get rid of paperwork cluttering the home.
