Tires, hot water tanks, housing frames, insulation and other garbage has been dumped on the lot in Kincora

Nearby residents and their city councillor are flabbergasted and furious over the illegal dumping of piles of construction debris and other garbage in a lot next to their northwest homes.

And the owner of the land in question said someone apparently angered by the rubbish dumping assaulted one of his workers at the location.

Residents say they were taken aback when large trucks began unloading the trash in a lot designated for multi-residential housing at 12825 Kincora Gate N.W. about two weeks ago.

One neighbour said even with the arrival of bylaw officers who showed up to put a stop to the activity, they continued to add to the pile.
