The Latest from Storm Team 5...
Clouds drifted in this afternoon out ahead of next chance for rain showers that will move in after 8 or 9pm tonight, ending around 2 or 3am for our eastern most counties. Winds will continue to stay breezy out of the south between 10-15mph with higher gusts around 25mph. That will kep temperatures warmer then last night, only falling to the upper 30s and low to mid 40s.
The Space Weather Prediction Center says the northern lights will be visible tonight, but clouds that will be slow to clear will likely ruin the chances. Maybe around 3-4am you will get a window of opportunity before the sun rises.
Tomorrow will start sunny, with clouds rolling back in for the late morning and into the afternoon. Highs will be warmer then today with a breezy southwest wind
