HIGH POINT, N.C. — Newly released police and court records are revealing more about the death of a 13-year-old girl in High Point and the multiple calls for help that came before her discovery.

High Point police found the girl dead inside a home on East Farris Avenue on Oct. 13. Her mother, Kymberli Bowden, was arrested more than two weeks later and charged with two counts of felony child abuse and one count of concealing a death .

According to police call logs obtained by WFMY News 2, officers received six calls regarding Bowden’s home in October, four of which involved concerns for her children.
