INGLEWOOD – A student was stabbed at an Inglewood high school, formerly known as Morningside High School Thursday morning.

This come after principal Dr. Lamar Collins continuosly downplayed the continued safety issues on the campus after the district combined two schools with rival gang members.

Inglewood Police Department confirmed four students were involved in a fightth that led to one student being stabbed in the shoulder.

“One student used a pocket knife and stabbed another student in the shoulder, causing a non-life-threatening puncture wound,” read a statement from police.

One student was taken into custody, according to a statement issued by the department.
