Three pedestrians have been rushed to hospital in serious conditions after a car crash in Sydney's west.

Paramedics were called to the Bungarribee Road in Blacktown, at the intersection with Panarama Parade and Lock Street, about 9.15am today.

One pedestrian is believed to have suffered head injuries, while the others have leg injuries.

All three are being rushed to Westmead Hospital.

It's unclear how many cars were involved in the crash.

Transport for NSW has confirmed Bungarribee Road has been closed in both directions between Flushcombe Road and Blacktown Road due to the "serious car and pedestrian crash".

Diversions for buses and cars are in place, with motorists advised to expect delays.

More to come.
