New Eagles' star calls trade 'greatest thing that's happened to me in my whole life'

It's safe to say that Jaelan Phillips is happy to be with the Philadelphia Eagles .

Looking to bolster their pass rush, the Eagles acquired Phillips from the Miami Dolphins before Tuesday's NFL trade deadline. On Thursday, Phillips was asked how he's been getting acclimated to his new environment. Phillips, who was already excited about going to the Eagles, is even happier about his situation.

"I thought I was excited Day 1," Phillips said, in a video shared by Eliot Shorr-Parks , 94WIP.com. "Talk to me now. This is literally the greatest thing that's happened to me in my whole life, probably."
