HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- ABC13 often brings you stories about illegal dumping, but usually, it's in a neighborhood and well above ground.

Court documents state that a north Houston man has been arrested and is accused of digging a hole the size of a small bedroom, then illegally dumping large household items inside of it.

CenterPoint crews responded to the gated-off area of a transmission corridor with high-voltage equipment on Garden Oaks, near N. Shepherd Drive and West 34th Street, according to court documents.

Court records show a man is accused of digging a large hole behind his house, then filling it with a dishwasher, a fertilizer spreader, commercial copper, and aluminum wire insulation, wood, trash, and other items.
