WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – A newly obtained affidavit reveals that a Wichita woman charged with first-degree murder was allegedly burglarizing a building for copper when a man she was with suffered burns from a 400-volt electrical arc flash. Investigators say 36-year-old Molly Hubbard left the scene as Ryan Crawford, 33, burned, later dying during surgery two days after the incident.
On July 17, at 5:18 a.m., first responders were dispatched to a burn call at Harry and Governeour. When police arrived, Sedgwick County EMS was already on scene, rendering aid to Ryan Crawford, who had severe burns to his upper body.
