LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — We now know a little more about how school districts across the state are performing after the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) released district grades for the first time on Thursday.
In September, individual schools were all given a grade A-F, but now grades for districts have been released, along with an all-new website intended to make sifting through the information easier.
“We want to be clear and transparent and provide as much information as possible,” Jacob Oliva, Arkansas Secretary of Education, said Thursday.
The new website provides grades for schools and districts and breaks down the categories used to calculate them.
