Rockford, Ill (WTVO) — A lecture at Rock Valley College (RVC) shed light on the 'People Who Care vs RPS 205' lawsuit, a pivotal case that tackled segregation in Rockford Public Schools.

61% of attendees had never heard of the lawsuit, underscoring the importance of educating the community about its history. Andre Mosca, a student at RVC, expressed his surprise, "I was never told about it, educated about it in classes. We obviously would talk about it in terms of the United States as a whole, but never in Rockford."
